About the position

The Structural Heart Staff RN position at Duly Health and Care in Naperville is a full-time role focused on providing high-quality support to physicians in a cardiology setting. The RN will be responsible for patient care, including taking vital signs, recording medical histories, and assisting with procedures. Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality support to physicians in meeting the medical needs of patients.
• Escort patients to and from exam rooms and prepare them for physicians.
• Take vital signs and record medical history and symptoms.
• Ensure medical charts and lab test results are available and complete.
• Perform telephone triage and patient education, handling physician and pharmacy calls.
• Administer immunizations and minor treatments as prescribed, documenting all activities in the chart.
• Assist physicians with procedures as necessary.
• Clean and stock patient examination rooms and prepare instruments for procedures.
• Complete paperwork such as ordering lab tests and x-rays.
• Clean and sterilize equipment and restock medication cabinets as necessary.
• Respond to patient questions and concerns as a liaison between physician and patient.
• Report all test results to patients as directed by the physician.
• Perform OSHA controls as required and assist in narcotic counts.
• Utilize current nursing practices to provide patient care focusing on patient needs.

Requirements

• Current IL RN licensure
• Graduate of an accredited Nursing Program
• Current CPR certification
• Prefer a minimum of one year of professional nursing experience in a clinical or hospital setting, but may consider new graduates under specific circumstances.
