About the position
The Structural / Miscellaneous Steel Working Foreman will lead a team of steel erectors, ensuring the successful execution of projects involving the layout and installation of structural and miscellaneous steel components. This role requires a strong understanding of architectural and structural prints, as well as hands-on experience in steel positioning and attachment techniques. The foreman will also be responsible for managing on-site personnel and adhering to safety protocols.
Responsibilities
- Prepare work by studying architectural/structural prints, layout, and gathering materials and tools.
- Layout structural and miscellaneous steel, including stairs, railings, and platforms.
- Position steel members by fastening to hoist cable, guiding, and placing members.
- Attach steel members by aligning, verifying vertical and horizontal placement, bolting, welding, or riveting members.
- Responsible for on-site personnel and technical management of projects.
- Adhere to all safety policies and procedures.
Requirements
- Valid Driver's License
