The Structural Project Engineer / Project Manager will join the Structural Engineering team at Lochmueller Group in Missouri, focusing on bridge design projects for DOT and local agencies. Responsibilities

• Perform as a project engineer and/or project manager on a variety of DOT and local agency projects related to bridge design.
• Apply advanced, specialized knowledge of principles and practices in broad areas of bridge design.
• Work on major projects of moderate scope with complex features.
• Lead the preparation of complete design and construction documents for bridge projects.
• Plan and coordinate aspects of the engineering work.
• Provide bridge inspection services.
• Assist management and staff as a technical specialist or advisor.
• Prepare scopes, budgets, and schedules for assignments.
• Assist with preparation of proposals and funding applications.
• Engage in other various responsibilities and projects as opportunities arise.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Civil Engineering; Structural emphasis is helpful.
• Professional Engineer (PE) certification.
• 8+ years of Structural Engineering experience with an emphasis on bridge design projects.
• Experience with project management and accounting software is beneficial.
• Exceptional organization skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office products including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work individually or as part of a team.
