About the position

We are seeking a highly motivated Structural Engineer with 3-5 years of structural engineering experience. The role involves leading projects, managing multiple assignments, and contributing to a casual yet professional work environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic and the ability to work under deadlines while providing exceptional service in structural design across various materials.

Responsibilities

• Lead structural engineering projects and manage multiple assignments.
• Conduct structural design using various materials including wood, concrete, masonry, and steel.
• Prepare technical documents such as letters, reports, and specifications with minimal guidance.
• Utilize engineering software for design and analysis, including Excel, RISA, AutoCAD, and ENERCALC.
• Serve as project engineer for complex assignments under the direction of the project manager.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in structural or civil engineering or a related field.
• 3-5 years of post-degree experience in structural/civil design.
• Strong capability and knowledge in residential, commercial, and mixed-use structural design.
• Technical writing skills for moderate complexity documents.
• Exceptional organization and communication skills.
• Good working knowledge of engineering software and modeling techniques.

Nice-to-haves

• Licensed Professional Engineer (preferred but not required).
• Experience with AutoCAD (1 year preferred).
