Ardurra is seeking a Structural Project Engineer to join our growing team in Meridian, ID! Under the supervision of a structural project manager, the Structural Project Engineer will perform detailed phases of design engineering work for projects of moderate size and complexity. This role encompasses all conventional aspects of design engineering, which includes planning and conducting tasks that require independent judgment in the evaluation, selection, and substantial adaptation and modification of standard design engineering techniques, procedures, and criteria. The engineer will be responsible for ensuring that all designs and drawings adhere to industry and company standards, while also supporting multiple projects and completing work within required timeframes. The Structural Project Engineer will perform analysis and detailed design of structural steel, concrete, and masonry structures for a wide variety of light and heavy industrial and private commercial building type projects. This position requires the preparation of design computations and quantity estimates under supervision, as well as the preparation or modification of reports, specifications, plans, construction documents, studies, permits, and designs for various projects. The engineer will also assist with client and public meetings, support and mentor staff engineering activities on projects, and visit construction sites to monitor progress as required. Additionally, the role includes supporting marketing efforts with prospective clients and taking on additional duties as assigned.
