About the position

LPA is seeking a passionate Structural Project Engineer to join their multidisciplinary design team. This role involves working on a variety of projects, including office buildings, educational facilities, healthcare centers, and performing arts venues, with a focus on sustainable and innovative design. Responsibilities

• Work collaboratively with Project Architects, Designers, and Managers to lead the project design process.
• Prepare documentation for schematic design, design development, and construction documents.
• Conduct quality control research for products and construction methods related to projects.
• Lead the construction administration process.
• Provide mentorship to less-experienced team members.

Requirements

• Proficiency in RAM, RISA, and ETABs is required; good knowledge of Revit is encouraged.
• Strong technical, code, and detailing skills for quality documentation.
• Enthusiastic commitment to the multidisciplinary design process and team environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with enthusiasm for using those skills on projects.
• Ability to lead structural design projects with mentorship from the Project Manager.

Nice-to-haves

• Master's Degree in Civil, Structural, or Architectural Engineering is encouraged.
• Structural Engineering (SE) license is encouraged.
