As a Structural Repair Customer Training Engineer, you will be part of a diverse multi-disciplined team of engineers, operating in an agile environment, using the latest tools and methodologies. This role involves developing, maintaining, and teaching a variety of structural repair courses. The courses currently taught by the Boeing Structural Maintenance Training group include topics such as Metallic Repair Design for Engineers, Composite Repair Design for Engineers, Composite Non-Destructive Testing, Boeing Drawings, Boeing Structural Repair Manuals, Corrosion Prevention and Control, and more. The Structural Repair Customer Training Engineer is expected to increase the number of courses they are qualified to teach over time. This qualification process involves attending and surveying the course, studying the course material, followed by a technical check performed by another qualified instructor. This position requires a two-part interview process, with the second interview being a presentation. Additionally, this position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, necessitating that the candidate is a "US Person" as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at the Boeing facility in Seattle, WA, and is expected to travel up to 25% of the time, both domestically and internationally.
