About the position

L.A. Fuess Partners is seeking enthusiastic Civil Engineering and Architectural Engineering Summer interns who are eager to take on real challenges and opportunities in the field of structural engineering. Interns will work in a supportive team environment, gaining hands-on experience in designing structures for various types of buildings while utilizing state-of-the-art software and collaborating with experienced professionals.

Responsibilities

• Assist in designing structures for commercial, residential, institutional, and industrial buildings.
• Develop and coordinate construction documents.
• Visit construction sites to observe and report on project progress.
• Utilize state-of-the-art software for analysis, design, and drawing.
• Collaborate with structural engineers and other recent graduates in a team environment.

Requirements

• Candidates must be pursuing a degree in civil/structural engineering or architectural engineering.
• Completion of at least one course in concrete or steel is preferred.
• Must upload an unofficial transcript for consideration.
