About the position
The Low Voltage Technician position at Superior Communication Service involves joining a structured cabling team focused on delivering high-quality work and exceeding customer expectations. The role requires reliable and motivated individuals who can work both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Roughing in, terminating, and testing copper cabling.
- Installing pathway supports such as j-hooks and ladder trays.
- Servicing/troubleshooting network cabling in a commercial environment.
- Installing closet hardware including backboards, connecting blocks, racks, patch panels, and fiber enclosures.
Requirements
- Valid Low Voltage License.
- Valid OSHA 10 certification (preferred).
- High school diploma or GED.
- 1 year of experience in low voltage work.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience with AV and/or access control.
- Industry-specific manufacturer certifications and BICSI training and/or certifications preferred.
