About the position

The Structured Information Protection Governance Lead Information Security Analyst at Wells Fargo is responsible for providing advanced information security consultation, focusing on security governance, compliance policy, risk management, and remediation. The analyst will collaborate with various stakeholders to enhance security controls and ensure the protection of Wells Fargo's data.

Responsibilities

• Consult the organization on complex security issues and findings.
• Direct information security risk assessment and research, recommending remediation plans and strategies.
• Influence stakeholders on new or material changes to assets to impact control decisions.
• Provide consulting on security risk assessment and research, recommending remediation plans and strategies.
• Act as a lead to develop security risk awareness and mitigating actions within the organization.
• Manage complex and critical information assets.
• Evaluate and interpret internal and companywide information security policies, processes, and standards.
• Advise on the development and delivery of Information Security Education and Awareness.
• Collaborate with peers and managers to resolve issues and achieve goals.
• Coordinate with vendor managers on third-party assets to manage information security risks.

Requirements

• 5+ years of Information Security Analysis experience or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, or education.

Nice-to-haves

• CISSP, CRISC or industry equivalent certification
• Experience with governance, risk and compliance
• Experience with PowerBI for creating reporting.
