About the position

The Structures Mechanic position involves performing maintenance and repairs on tactical aircraft, specifically focusing on structural components. The role requires troubleshooting, inspecting, and documenting work according to regulations, while ensuring compliance with safety policies. Technicians will work in a state-of-the-art facility, contributing to the maintenance of a growing fleet of aircraft and assisting in complex structural repairs.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, inspect, and perform maintenance on customer aircraft structural components.
• Perform and document all work performed per appropriate manuals and regulations as required.
• Comply with environmental health/safety policies/procedures, performing work in a safe and timely manner.
• Remove/install aircraft components as required.
• Fabricate and/or modify structural modifications on aircraft parts.
• Perform structural repairs on components either attached or detached.
• Assist in conducting hidden damage inspections of aircraft structures.
• Assist with complex structural repairs either on or off aircraft.
• Operate ground support equipment as required.
• Assist with aircraft component repair.

Requirements

• Experience in aircraft maintenance, specifically with structural components.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and compliance in aircraft maintenance.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and documentation.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with A-4N's and TA-4J aircraft.
• Familiarity with ground support equipment operations.
