Responsibilities

  • Provide counseling and guidance to students, families, and staff on University policies and procedures related to the student account.
  • Conduct in-depth analysis concerning student accounts.
  • Resolve issues with student accounts.
  • Guide students and families through the billing, financial aid disbursement, and refunding processes via various communication methods.
  • Accept and post payments, issue receipts, and reconcile respective transactions.

Requirements

  • Associate's degree plus four years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • High level of attention to detail and critical thinking skills.
  • Strong interpersonal, written, verbal, and grammatical skills.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Advising and counseling skills.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with student and business systems/software is preferred.
