Responsibilities

• General bookkeeping in QuickBooks
• Individual and business tax preparation and data entry
• Calculation and preparation of weekly/semi-monthly client payrolls
• Preparation of monthly/quarterly/yearly payroll tax returns and sales tax returns
• Tax research
• Respond to notices from government tax authorities
• Communicate with clients

Requirements

• Accounting major, at least at the sophomore level
• Completed initial 200 level courses
• Good communication skills
• Time management skills
• Eager to learn and gain experience
