About the position

The Student Admissions Recruiter at Roth Staffing Companies is responsible for developing and implementing recruitment strategies aimed at attracting veterans and military personnel to educational programs. This role involves building partnerships with military bases and veteran organizations, delivering presentations, and providing guidance to prospective students on admissions processes and VA benefits. The recruiter will also support enrolled students in their transition from military to civilian educational environments.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement targeted recruitment strategies to attract veterans and military personnel to educational programs.
  • Utilize existing relationships within VA and military communities to foster engagement and increase student enrollment.
  • Establish and maintain partnerships with military bases and veteran organizations to foster recruitment pipelines.
  • Deliver presentations and informational sessions on the advantages of VA-supported educational programs.
  • Coordinate and attend recruitment events at military bases, VA hospitals, and veteran service organizations.
  • Provide expert guidance to prospective veteran students on admissions processes, academic programs, and VA benefits.
  • Support enrolled students in transitioning from military to civilian educational environments.
  • Conduct training sessions for university staff on veteran benefits and the unique needs of veteran students.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree
  • At least 3-5 years of experience in higher education recruitment, preferably with veterans and military personnel experience.
  • Experience working with VA benefits (like GI Bill) and strong knowledge of federal regulations concerning veteran benefits.

Nice-to-haves

  • Certifications in Veterans Benefits Counseling.
  • Previous military experience.
  • Proven track record of successful VA student recruitment campaigns.
