About The Position

The Student Assistant position at The Poly Post Newspaper offers part-time employment for current Cal Poly Pomona students. Requirements

• Current Cal Poly Pomona student majoring in Communication, Graphic Design, or Marketing.
• Previous experience in marketing, sales, public relations, writing, photography, videography, or graphic design is required.
• Strong communication skills and self-starting abilities are essential.
• Leadership abilities and capacity to collaborate effectively in a team environment.

Nice To Haves

• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud is preferred.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the Poly Post newspaper production and operations.
• Contribute to the creation of content for newsletters and the website.
• Manage social media content and marketing efforts.
• Support business operations related to the newspaper.
