About the position

The Student Brand Ambassador role at Kaplan is a part-time position designed for current college students who are engaged in their campus community. The primary purpose of this role is to enhance Kaplan's visibility and market share through various marketing initiatives, relationship building, and lead generation activities. Ambassadors will work flexibly, with hours ranging from 5 to 15+ per week, and will receive paid training to equip them for success in their responsibilities.

Responsibilities

  • Use existing connections to build and strengthen Kaplan relationships with student organizations.
  • Collaborate with full-time campus-focused partners to generate leads and enrollments through various initiatives.
  • Connect students ready to enroll in a course with the appropriate test prep expert.
  • Execute grassroots marketing initiatives, including on-campus events, tables, fairs, and flyers.
  • Develop new relationships and establish partnerships with influential student groups and organizations.
  • Present to students on campus about how Kaplan's products and resources can help them achieve their goals.
  • Utilize campus knowledge to engage with relevant campus activities and initiatives.
  • Create and share content through personal social media channels to engage students with the Kaplan brand.

Requirements

  • Current sophomore, junior, or senior on campus.
  • Engaged in campus community or an active member/leader of a student club or organization.
  • Skilled in finding relevant student groups and fostering relationships.
  • Active on social media with an engaged audience and strong digital presence.
  • Creative problem solver with excellent communication skills.
  • Able to manage multiple initiatives while working independently and remotely.
  • Proactive, self-starter with excellent time management skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in marketing or sales roles.
  • Familiarity with Kaplan's products and services.
