About the position

As a Student Brand Ambassador for Westlaw, you will serve as the primary representative of Westlaw on your law school campus, promoting its use among fellow students. This role involves educating peers about Westlaw's advantages as a legal research tool, leveraging social media for brand awareness, and building relationships with faculty and administration to enhance student engagement with Westlaw.

Responsibilities

  • Educate law students on why Westlaw is the number one research solution.
  • Effectively utilize social media to increase awareness of Westlaw's brand, events, and classes.
  • Drive brand marketing by being highly approachable and influencing large target audiences.
  • Build professional working relationships with your legal writing program, library, and school administrators.
  • Develop strategic partnerships to assist students with research assignments.
  • Maintain current knowledge of campus events and activities.

Requirements

  • Current student at the specific school of Law, in good standing.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and creativity.
  • Ability to engage with students, professors, and librarians.
  • Ability to build and leverage social media networks to drive student engagement.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Understanding of legal research and online legal research tools.
  • Willingness to learn Westlaw and other Thomson Reuters products.

  • Leadership experience and campus involvement (sports, clubs, organizations).
  • Existing social media presence on multiple platforms.
