About the position

The Student Brand Ambassador role at Kaplan is designed for motivated individuals who are actively involved in their campus communities. This part-time position focuses on increasing Kaplan's visibility and market share through various marketing initiatives, relationship building, and lead generation. Ambassadors will work flexibly, engaging with students to promote Kaplan's educational resources and courses, while also developing valuable marketing and sales skills.

Responsibilities

• Use existing connections to build and strengthen Kaplan relationships with student organizations
• Collaborate with campus-focused partners to generate leads and enrollments through on-campus initiatives and social media
• Connect students ready to enroll in a course with the appropriate test prep expert
• Execute grassroots marketing initiatives, including on-campus events, tables, fairs, flyers, and more
• Develop new relationships and establish partnerships with influential student groups and organizations
• Present to students on campus about how Kaplan's products and resources can help them achieve their goals
• Utilize campus knowledge to bring Kaplan to relevant activities and initiatives
• Create and share content through personal social media channels to engage students with the Kaplan brand

Requirements

• Current sophomore, junior, or senior on campus
• Engaged in campus community or an active member/leader of a student club or organization
• Skilled in finding relevant student groups and fostering relationships
• Active on social media with an engaged audience and strong digital presence
• Creative problem solver with excellent communication skills
• Able to manage multiple initiatives while working independently and remotely
• Proactive, self-starter with excellent time management skills
• High energy with a get-it-done attitude
