About the position

The Student Brand Ambassador role at Kaplan is designed for motivated individuals who are actively involved in their campus community. This part-time position focuses on increasing Kaplan's visibility through grassroots marketing, lead generation, and relationship building with student organizations. Ambassadors will engage with peers to promote Kaplan's educational resources and support students in their enrollment journey, all while enjoying flexible hours and a paid training program.

Responsibilities

  • Use existing connections to build and strengthen Kaplan relationships with student organizations.
  • Generate leads through on-campus initiatives and social media efforts.
  • Execute grassroots marketing initiatives, including on-campus tables, fairs, and flyers.
  • Develop new relationships and establish partnerships with influential student groups.
  • Present to students on campus about Kaplan's products and resources.
  • Create and share content through personal social media channels to engage students with the Kaplan brand.
  • Utilize knowledge of campus activities to promote Kaplan's involvement.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify on-campus event opportunities.
  • Support students ready to enroll by connecting them with test prep advisors.

Requirements

  • Current sophomore, junior, or senior on campus.
  • Engaged in campus community or an active member/leader of a student club or organization.
  • Active on social media with an engaged audience and strong digital presence.
  • Skilled in finding relevant student groups and fostering relationships.
  • Creative problem solver with excellent communication skills.
  • Able to manage multiple initiatives while working independently and remotely.
  • Proactive, self-starter with excellent time management skills.
