About the position

The Student Employee at the ARC Chamber will engage in data collection and analysis to assess the performance of large-scale RFID deployments. This role offers valuable work experience, networking opportunities, and the chance to contribute to the academic environment at Auburn University.

Responsibilities

• Perform data collection and data analysis to investigate the performance of large scale RFID deployments.
• Create reports for data presentation and customer communication.
• Evaluate the performance of RFID systems in retail stores and standard lab test environments.
• Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot RF test equipment.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled undergraduate student at Auburn University.
• Ability to work evenings and weekend hours.
• Reliable transportation outside of regular business hours.
• Excellent organizational and documentation skills.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word and Excel).
• Excellent written communication skills.

Nice-to-haves

• Technically capable with the ability to quickly become familiar with hardware, software, processes, and new technologies.
• Basic knowledge of RF systems and computer networks.
• RFID experience.
