About the position
The HR Intern will support the HR Admin/Manager and General Manager in various human resources functions, including managing personnel records, pre-screening candidates, scheduling interviews, and assisting with new hire orientation. This role is designed for students currently enrolled at Slippery Rock University, providing practical experience in HR operations.
Responsibilities
- Contacts applicants to schedule interviews
- May conduct student interviews
- Assists with posting jobs and sourcing qualified candidates
- Schedule new hire orientation
- Schedule open interview sessions
- Assists with new hire orientation, including paperwork
- Assist with Employee Recognition program
- Other duties assigned by GM
Requirements
- Must be a student currently enrolled at Slippery Rock University
