About the position

The Student Intern in Clinical Engineering will work under the supervision of a Biomed Tech, focusing on low-level equipment maintenance and gaining hands-on experience in various areas of the hospital. This role is designed for students enrolled in the Biomedical Technology Program, providing an opportunity to shadow technicians and learn about equipment management in a clinical setting.

Responsibilities

• Assist with low-level equipment maintenance under the supervision of a Biomed Tech.
• Shadow various technicians to learn different areas of the hospital.
• Review equipment manuals when time allows.
• Perform duties as assigned by the Lead Tech or Manager.

Requirements

• Enrolled in the Biomedical Technology Program at an accredited college.
• Near completion of the degree.
