About the position
The Risk Management Student Intern will support the Risk Management department by assisting with various tasks and projects during the summer internship program. This role is designed for college students who are interested in gaining practical experience in risk management while contributing to the department's objectives.
Responsibilities
- Assist with data collection and analysis and preparation of tracking and trending reports
- Research and draft articles related to employee and patient safety
- Research and draft presentations related to employee and patient safety
- Research and coordinate special projects as deemed appropriate
- Complete all tasks and assignments accurately and timely
- Proactively seek to learn about the company and the department
- Participate in all intern-specific activities (if applicable)
- Create and present a presentation on job skills learned (if applicable)
Requirements
- Must be actively enrolled in a college or university (Junior/Senior level students are preferred)
- Must have an interest in the department in which they are interning
- Class experience in risk management is preferred
- Intermediate to Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite
