About the position
The College of Veterinary Medicine at Auburn University is seeking an undergraduate student for the position of Student Lab Assistant in the Pathobiology Bacteriology/Mycology Diagnostic Lab. This role involves assisting in specimen set-up and testing, with a commitment of approximately 6-20 hours per week, primarily in the afternoons and some weekends. Responsibilities
- Assist in processing samples and setting up biochemical assays.
Requirements
- Enrolled student at Auburn University
- Reliable and able to work comfortably and responsibly in a clinical diagnostic environment
- Ability to follow instructions
- Commitment to 12-18 months of employment
- Ability to work independently
- Availability to work weekends and holidays on rotation.
