The position involves delivering basic patient care, which includes activities of daily living, mobility using Safe Patient Handling techniques, and monitoring vital signs. You will work in collaboration with a designated Registered Nurse to enhance your basic nursing skills, which may include basic wound care, dressing changes, IV insertion and removal, urinary catheter management, blood glucose management, and NG insertion and management, all in accordance with Division of Nursing standards. This experience provides exposure to holistic nursing practice, applying new knowledge and expanding opportunities for career advancement.
