The Center for Social Impact at Utah Valley University (UVU) is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Audio Editor to join our podcast team. This paid student position is designed for current UVU students who are looking to gain hands-on experience in audio editing and podcast production. The Audio Editor will work closely with the Impact Fellow, who coordinates the podcast project, to ensure high-quality audio content is produced. The role involves editing raw audio files, collaborating with the podcast host and other editors, and adhering to project timelines to submit work promptly. This position not only offers the opportunity to enhance technical skills in audio editing but also to engage with the UVU community and communicate the mission and values of the Center for Social Impact. The Audio Editor will be expected to manage their time effectively, as the position requires 6 to 8 hours of work each week, depending on the availability of raw audio. The successful candidate will have the chance to develop their skills in a supportive environment while also gaining valuable experience in a professional setting.
