About the position

The Videographer position for the Men's Football program at the University of Northwestern is a student role focused on assisting with video documentation of practices and games. The role requires commitment to the football program's video needs, adherence to university policies, and effective interaction with coaching staff and players. This position is ideal for students enrolled in on-campus courses, providing a practical opportunity to engage with the sport while developing technical skills in videography.

Responsibilities

  • Arrive on-time or early to video practices and games
  • Follow UMAC guidelines for game day video
  • Set up and take down video equipment, transporting it to the Head Coach's office
  • Video practices according to coaches' requirements
  • Upload practice footage into the computer in the Head Coach's office
  • Collaborate with the HUDL coordinator
  • Abide by all University policies

Requirements

  • Ability to interact professionally and courteously with a variety of individuals
  • Knowledge of basic rules and regulations of football
  • Responsibility and reliability, with an emphasis on punctuality
  • Understanding and agreement with the University of Northwestern's mission and values
