About the position

The Student Program Coordinator at the University of Texas at Dallas plays a vital role in supporting the Living Learning Communities (LLC) by providing program assistance. This position involves developing and facilitating various programs, maintaining faculty partnerships, and managing student staff, all aimed at enhancing the student experience within the university's residential life framework.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and facilitate evening, weekend, in-person, and virtual programs for students.
  • Develop and maintain faculty partnerships to enhance program effectiveness.
  • Facilitate marketing initiatives, including social media management.
  • Assist in program assessment and academic intervention efforts.
  • Manage the application process for student programs and track course enrollment.
  • Compile reports on program attendance, faculty involvement, and assessment outcomes.
  • Serve as a primary point of contact with the Residential Life Coordinator.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field.
  • One or more years of related work experience in a university setting.

Nice-to-haves

  • Master's degree in a relevant field with 3-5 years of experience in Residential Life or Living Learning environments.
  • Experience with student management and assessment.
  • Proficiency in database management, training, and faculty relationship building.
  • Skills in social media management, video and photo editing, StarRez, and Orion.
