About the position

The Student Services Analyst (Admissions & Records) at Maricopa Community Colleges plays a crucial role in managing daily operations within the Admissions & Records office. This position focuses on Transcript Evaluation and Prior Learning Assessment, providing support to prospective and current students, community organizations, and college staff. The analyst will ensure compliance with various regulations while facilitating enrollment processes and collaborating with internal and external partners to enhance student services.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, organize, and implement enrollment processes and sessions in support of the Director of Student Services.
  • Serve as the lead transcript evaluator and coordinate all Prior Learning Assessments, ensuring proper record management procedures are followed.
  • Develop and implement a Records Management Plan for Admissions and Records, managing National Student Clearinghouse errors and inquiries.
  • Provide leadership and oversight for all Prior Learning Assessment processes and Transcript Evaluation, assisting students with admissions, registration, and financial aid inquiries.
  • Implement quality assurance measures to ensure accuracy in completed transactions and prepare reports related to enrollment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree from a regionally accredited institution.
  • Two years of student services or college teaching experience, or experience coordinating, administering, planning, or evaluating programs.
  • Experience with Google Suite, SSRS, and PeopleSoft.

Nice-to-haves

  • Three or more years of full-time work experience in Student Services, particularly with apprenticeship and third-party partnerships.
  • Experience working with diverse populations of students and staff.
  • Experience in using data for informed decision-making.
