About the position

The Student Services Specialist - Journey at East Carolina University is responsible for supporting various tasks related to marketing, admissions, retention, and academic success initiatives for nursing students. This role involves coordinating enrollment services for pre-licensure BSN and MSN students, managing communications, and providing essential support to ensure student progression and success within the College of Nursing.

Responsibilities

• Support marketing, admission, retention, and academic success initiatives.
• Coordinate enrollment services for pre-licensure BSN and MSN students from admission through graduation.
• Manage phone calls, walk-in inquiries, and appointment scheduling for students.
• Maintain in-depth knowledge of undergraduate and graduate programs offered.
• Provide reports on course rosters, graduation, and enrollment related to Student Services budget and student files.
• Assist the Executive Director of the Office of Student Services with graduation, new student orientations, and other related tasks.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of training and experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to navigate complex and sensitive confidential situations.
• Knowledge of higher education policies, procedures, and best practices.
