About the position

Post University's Marketing Team is seeking a creative and motivated Social Media Intern/Content Creator to join our dynamic team. This role will be pivotal in capturing compelling content and telling engaging stories across our social media platforms, with a primary focus on TikTok and Instagram Reels. We welcome applications from students across all majors who have a passion for social media marketing and content creation. The intern will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in social media marketing and content creation, while also building a portfolio of work that showcases their creativity and skills. This position is designed to be flexible to accommodate the academic schedules of students, allowing them to balance their studies with practical work experience.

Responsibilities

  • Create and curate engaging content for Post University's social media channels, specifically TikTok and Instagram Reels, with a target of 3-5 posts per week.
  • Stay up-to-date with social media trends and best practices to ensure content remains fresh and relevant.
  • Collaborate with the Marketing Team to brainstorm and develop creative ideas and concepts for social media campaigns.
  • Use video editing skills and knowledge of platforms like CapCut to produce high-quality, visually appealing content.
  • Capture behind-the-scenes footage, campus life moments, student testimonials, and other relevant content that showcases the Post University experience.
  • Assist in managing and scheduling content calendars to ensure consistent posting and engagement.
  • Monitor social media channels for trends, feedback, and opportunities to engage with our audience.

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled at Post University, regardless of major.
  • Strong understanding and passion for social media, especially TikTok and Instagram, and their respective communities.
  • Proficiency in video editing and familiarity with editing platforms such as CapCut, Adobe Premiere, or similar tools.
  • Creative mindset with the ability to think outside the box and contribute innovative ideas.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and independently when necessary.
  • Passion for storytelling and creating compelling narratives through visual content.
