About the position
The Student to Work program at Hair Cuttery Family of Brands is designed for passionate and creative cosmetology students who are within 90 days of graduating or recent graduates. This program provides an opportunity to gain hands-on experience and mentorship in a supportive environment, helping students transition into licensed stylists while receiving valuable training and incentives.
Responsibilities
- Engage in a 90-day mentorship program, offering valuable observation and hands-on experience.
- Participate in new hire orientation classes, focusing on observing and practicing styling and color techniques.
- Hone skills on mannequins and sharpen clipper cutting and fading skills through advanced classes.
- Benefit from on-the-job training, continuous guidance, and feedback from industry-leading cosmetologists.
- Integrate and bond with the Salon Team.
Requirements
- Must be a cosmetology student within 90 days of graduating or a recent graduate.
- Passion for beauty and styling.
