About The Position

This position is located in the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), Office of The Chief Financial Officer. The primary purpose of this position is to serve as a Student Trainee (Program Specialist), GS-0399-07, within the Office of The Chief Financial Officer (OCFO), supporting office operations and serving as a liaison for the program served.

Requirements

• Must be a U.S. citizen to apply for this position.
• Males born after 12/31/1959 must be registered for Selective Service.
• Must successfully pass a background investigation.
• Must submit to a pre-employment drug test.
• Must be 16 years of age or older to apply.

• All interns are required to sign a Pathways Participant Agreement.
• Must serve a trial period.
• Must maintain a cumulative and term GPA of 2.0 throughout internship.
