About the position

The Student Video Editor will be responsible for producing and editing video content for the Online Programs at the David Eccles School of Business. This role involves collaborating with a team to convert in-classroom experiences into engaging online learning materials, assisting with various video-related tasks from recording to post-production editing.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact for studio video recording, including studio setup, camera operation, live editing, and interaction with faculty.
• Edit faculty video lectures to meet the quality standards of the Online Programs office.
• Manage editing assignments, report to supervisors, and ensure timely completion of video modules.
• Assist with in-class recordings, marketing materials, and quality control as the Online Programs grow.

Requirements

• Proficiency in video editing software, especially Adobe Premiere.
• Experience operating basic camera and audio equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Nice-to-haves

• Knowledge of Photoshop, InDesign, After Effects, and Audition is a plus.
• Creative mindset with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
• Experience in animation is a bonus.
