About the position

The Student Videographer position at Auburn Football offers students a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in sports videography. The primary responsibility is to film practices and games, providing valuable access to the football team and contributing to the coaches' film department. This role is ideal for students looking to explore career interests in sports while building a professional network and gaining practical skills.

Responsibilities

• Attend football practices and games to film activities.
• Set up camera equipment for filming.
• Shoot assigned drills and practices with attention to detail.
• Report to work during scheduled shifts with undivided attention.
• Possibly travel for away games.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled as an Auburn University undergraduate student.
• Ability to attend all football practices (Sunday afternoon, Tuesday-Thursday 2:30pm-6:30pm).
• Ability to work home football games.
• Ability to stand for 3 hours and lift 25 lbs.
• Ability to climb steep stairs/ladders.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience using video cameras is preferred but not required.
