About the position

The Studio Manager at John Cain Photography is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the studio, ensuring a high level of customer service, and maintaining an organized and efficient work environment. This role requires a positive attitude, strong organizational skills, and a passion for hospitality, particularly in the context of weddings and client interactions. The Studio Manager will manage client communications, studio setup, and assist with marketing efforts, all while fostering a welcoming atmosphere for clients and team members alike.

Responsibilities

  • Manage attendance and vacation/sick/PTO records
  • Oversee all outbound mailing
  • Maintain studio setup and overall condition
  • Manage the pipeline of all current clients' status
  • Handle all communications to the photography team
  • Maintain and update calendars, including internal and external communications
  • Communicate with all clients regarding their needs and appointments
  • Prepare the studio for meetings and appointments
  • Ensure all supplies and provisions are stocked for client service
  • Act as the first point of contact for clients via phone
  • Confirm times and locations for photo shoots and meetings
  • Serve as the lead client-care officer through direct client interactions
  • Assist lead photographers during weddings when needed
  • Schedule photo viewing times with clients
  • Manage customer care throughout the entire process
  • Notify clients of order statuses for prints or albums
  • Prepare all gear and checklists before events
  • Manage check-in and check-out of photography gear and equipment
  • Maintain essential office supplies for daily operations
  • Ensure availability of business printed materials
  • Assist in marketing efforts and client gifting

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 3 years of customer service experience
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Positive attitude
  • Organizational mindset
