About the position

The Studio Manager at Club Pilates is responsible for overseeing all studio operations, with a primary focus on sales and customer service. This role involves managing staff, driving revenue through various streams, and ensuring a high-quality experience for clients. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales, particularly in the fitness industry, and will be passionate about promoting Pilates and fitness to the community.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee all studio functionality from sales to instructors.
  • Generate leads through grassroots marketing and networking.
  • Implement sales processes to schedule prospects into demo classes.
  • Manage membership sales and drive revenue streams including retail, private training, and teacher training.
  • Supervise and manage staff schedules, including hiring and managing instructors.
  • Coordinate with vendors to ensure accurate inventory counts of studio retail/products.
  • Review instructor evaluations performed by Master Trainers.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the Pilates studio.
  • Enforce Club Pilates policies and procedures.
  • Schedule and participate in networking/community events and studio promotions.
  • Strategically manage marketing campaigns to generate leads for the studio.
  • Collect outstanding dues and ensure high-level customer service.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of retail/service sales or fitness sales experience.
  • Confident in generating personal sales and training sales representatives.
  • Ability to manage and drive four revenue streams: memberships, retail, private training, and teacher training.
  • Fluent in English with excellent communication and strong interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to excel in a fast-changing, diverse environment.
  • Ability to recognize areas of improvement and make changes using good judgment.
  • Affinity and passion for fitness.
  • Solid writing and grammar skills.
  • Highly organized and proficient in data management.
  • Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
  • Professional, punctual, reliable, and neat.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Trustworthy and able to handle confidential information.
  • Ability to work harmoniously with co-workers, clients, and the general public.
  • Proficiency with computers and studio software.
