About the position

The Studio Manager is responsible for leading and directing the sales and group personal training teams at Orangetheory Fitness. This role focuses on achieving sales targets, operational excellence, and staff development while promoting health and wellness benefits. The Studio Manager will implement marketing strategies to boost fitness program sales and create a high-energy culture within the studio.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and exceed all OTF sales and operational budgets
  • Lead and coordinate sales drivers and studio events
  • Oversee the sales process and systems
  • Monitor, coach, and evaluate performance of OTF-related managers and staff
  • Ensure compliance with OTF Business Policies for daily operations
  • Manage hiring, training, and scheduling of studio staff
  • On-board new OTF employees
  • Develop a high-energy culture through contests and incentives
  • Model studio activities through self-involvement
  • Train and mentor subordinates for ongoing success
  • Ensure OTF branding consistency in all actions
  • Empower and evaluate responsibilities of the sales team
  • Manage disciplinary actions involving studio employees
  • Meet performance metrics (KPI's), revenue, and cost controls
  • Direct sales through outreach programs
  • Manage studio sales and meet weekly sales goals during presale
  • Conduct staff performance reviews
  • Enforce corporate policies and business practices
  • Ensure proper front desk systems are followed
  • Provide high-level customer service
  • Make effective decisions regarding customer service issues
  • Plan and promote special events for the studio
  • Ensure facility cleanliness and operational soundness

Requirements

  • Proven sales leadership experience
  • Previous management experience in the health & fitness industry
  • Excellent leadership and management skills
  • Minimum 2-3 years of previous sales experience
  • Minimum 2-3 years of management experience overseeing staff
  • Strong work ethic, integrity, and professional demeanor
  • Solid verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to multi-task and manage client and staff concerns
  • Strong computer skills with knowledge of MS Office programs
  • Associate or Bachelor's degree in business, sports management, exercise physiology, or related field preferred
