The Studio Production Specialist at Rust-Oleum plays a crucial role in supporting the production activities for studio video, photography, and social media projects. This position involves collaborating with internal customers and the Studio Production Team to ensure that all production activities are executed smoothly from ideation to completion. The specialist will serve as an on-set production assistant for various teams, including Advertising, Product Teams, Trade Marketing, E-Commerce, and Sales, contributing to video and photo shoots that align with the company's marketing strategies. In this role, the specialist will be responsible for shooting, editing, and delivering 'Tier 2' level video and photography projects, while also contributing creative ideas for various projects. A key responsibility includes backing up footage from video and photo productions to hard drives and the studio server, ensuring that all assets are organized and easily accessible. The specialist will also create and organize Adobe Premiere projects for specified 'Tier 1' video productions as needed, demonstrating a strong command of video editing software. Communication is vital in this role, as the specialist will need to schedule freelance vendors, such as videographers, photographers, and editors, for both studio and remote assignments. Additionally, the specialist will assist producers with requests for footage, music, and logos/graphics, and will be responsible for producing all product photography projects. The organization of photography assets on the server and the maintenance of the camera room equipment and lenses will also fall under the specialist's purview. Physical responsibilities include loading and unloading production equipment, maintaining equipment storage solutions, and setting up camera and lighting gear both in the studio and off-site. The specialist must thrive in a fast-paced work environment, demonstrating excellent people and time management skills while being able to respond to and satisfy changing needs throughout the creative development process.
