About the position

The Assistant Studio Manager (ASM) at Orangetheory Fitness is a key role focused on driving sales and managing operational tasks within the studio. The ASM is expected to be a top revenue producer, leading the team in sales efforts while also ensuring smooth daily operations. This includes managing appointment bookings, handling financial transactions, and supporting community engagement initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the team in sales and be one of the top revenue producers in the studio.
  • Ensure 2-3 appointment shows per day.
  • Double-check unpaid visits have been handled correctly on a daily basis.
  • Manage credit card declines daily.
  • Confirm that classes from the prior day were reconciled correctly daily.
  • Coordinate confirmation of appointments for the following shift daily.
  • Coordinate confirmation of waitlists for the following shift daily.
  • Manage the Appointment Book, including highlighted follow-ups.
  • Review supply checklists and communicate with the regional team twice per week.
  • Merge duplicates weekly.
  • Check for expired memberships weekly.
  • Assist the Studio Manager (SM) with coordinating regular 'deep cleaning' of the studio twice per month.
  • Assist the SM with loaner strap and pod maintenance and warranty follow-up.
  • Engage in corporate wellness prospecting.
  • Build community relationships with schools, charities, and organizations.
  • Assist less experienced Sales Associates through training.

Requirements

  • Proven sales experience in a similar role.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience in community engagement and relationship building.
