About the position

The Assistant Studio Manager (ASM) at Orangetheory Fitness is a key role focused on driving sales and managing operational tasks within the studio. The ASM is expected to be a top revenue producer, leading the team in sales efforts while also handling various operational responsibilities to ensure the smooth functioning of the studio.

Responsibilities

• Lead the team in sales, aiming for 2-3 appointment shows per day.
• Double-check unpaid visits have been handled correctly on a daily basis.
• Manage daily credit card declines and ensure proper follow-up.
• Confirm that classes from the prior day were reconciled correctly each day.
• Coordinate confirmation of appointments and waitlists for the following shift daily.
• Manage the Appointment Book, including highlighting and follow-ups.
• Review supply checklists and communicate with the regional team twice per week.
• Merge duplicate memberships on a weekly basis.
• Check for expired memberships weekly.
• Assist the Studio Manager (SM) with coordinating regular deep cleaning of the studio twice per month.
• Assist the SM with loaner strap and pod maintenance and warranty follow-up.
• Engage in corporate wellness prospecting and community relationship building with schools, charities, and organizations.
• Assist less experienced Sales Associates through training.

Requirements

• Proven experience in sales, preferably in a fitness or retail environment.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
