Studio Stylist, Creative Team

About the position

The Studio Stylist position at Mashburn is an entry-level role focused on supporting fashion and product photography for various marketing channels. The role involves managing product samples for the Creative Team, ensuring they are organized and in camera-ready condition for photo shoots. This position is ideal for individuals interested in the fashion industry and offers a chance to learn about behind-the-scenes operations in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

• Organize and maintain sample library spanning multiple seasons and stages of production.
• Act as 'air traffic controller' with garment samples, fielding and fulfilling sample requests from other teams.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to minimize conflicting requests and maximize sample usage.
• Serve as liaison between Creative Team and other cross-functional teams (Design, Wholesale, Merchandising, Warehouse).
• Request additional samples when needed in preparation for photo shoots.
• Keep studio organized with incoming and outgoing product.
• Prepare and restore product to camera-ready standards (ironing, steaming, basting, styling).
• Assist photographers and stylists, serving as 'extra set of hands' on set during photo shoots.

Requirements

• General interest in menswear/womenswear.
• Extremely organized with strong attention to detail.
• Excellent time management skills with ability to multitask and prioritize.
• Ability to use an iron/steamer.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Excel.
• Strong interpersonal communication skills.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced startup environment.
