The Style Advisor at Lilly Pulitzer plays a crucial role in promoting the selling culture within the store, focusing on building strong client relationships and leading the sales team to drive business success. The Style Advisor is expected to embody the brand's vision of creating a resort state of mind, characterized by casual glamour, sunny and spirited vibes, and a charm that disarms clients. In this role, the Style Advisor will immerse themselves in the overall concept of the Lilly Pulitzer brand, which includes understanding the lifestyle, the client base, the merchandise, and the brand's rich heritage. They will be responsible for driving sales through exceptional client experiences, utilizing company tools, and staying informed about market trends. A key aspect of the job is to maintain strong product knowledge and awareness of key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure that sales targets are met or exceeded. The Style Advisor will build lasting relationships with clients, starting from the initial greeting and continuing through post-sale contact. They will provide personalized styling expertise, creating meaningful and memorable moments for clients. Team selling is encouraged, and the Style Advisor will take ownership of the sales floor to ensure that the client experience remains the top priority. Keeping up-to-date client information through personalized communication regarding requests and product feedback is also essential. To succeed in this position, the Style Advisor must learn and master the Lilly Pulitzer brand framework and maintain a high level of product knowledge. They will demonstrate the Lilly Pulitzer selling culture and ensure that every client interaction reflects the brand's values and commitment to excellence.
