About The Position
As a Stylist at Cost Cutters, you will be part of a dynamic team dedicated to transforming the lives of our clients through exceptional hair care services. This role is not just about providing haircuts; it’s about creating an experience that leaves a lasting impression on our guests. You will utilize your skills in haircutting, coloring, highlighting, and waxing, along with our proprietary tools and techniques, to ensure that every client leaves feeling satisfied and rejuvenated. Your ability to connect with clients and understand their needs will be crucial in delivering quality consultations and performing requested services in a professional and efficient manner. In this full-time position, you will be expected to work a flexible schedule, which may include evenings and weekends. This flexibility allows you to cater to the diverse needs of our clientele, ensuring that everyone has access to our services at their convenience. You will also be responsible for performing administrative tasks, including closing out the system at the end of the day, which requires a certain level of tech-savviness. Your role will involve not only the artistic side of hairstyling but also the operational aspects that keep our salon running smoothly. Physical requirements are an important aspect of this job. You will need to have good eyesight to observe and assess your guests' hair, which includes close vision and color vision. The job will require you to be active, as you will be standing, lifting, and reaching throughout your shifts. Comfort with lifting, bending, and performing repetitive movements is essential, as you may occasionally lift weights between 10-25 lbs. Additionally, you will be working with various chemicals and fragrances in our treatments, so it is important that you are comfortable with these substances.
