The RN Supervisor is responsible for supervision of nursing staff. Coordinates, communicates, and provides oversight to promote a smooth transition among the off-going and on-coming shifts to enhance unit operations. Responsible for implementing the staffing plan as created by the RCC and implementing steps to reduce overtime. This person is responsible for problem-solving, decision making, staff in-service education and ensuring follow-through of operations as delegated.
