About the position

The Subcontract Administrator at Lockheed Martin plays a crucial role in managing the procurement of specialized materials, equipment, and services that support key development and production contracts. This position involves leading the end-to-end subcontracting process, ensuring that all subcontracts meet cost, quality, schedule, and technical requirements while collaborating with various teams to create and manage subcontract policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the procurement of specialized materials, equipment, and services for development and production contracts.
  • Develop detailed subcontract specifications and draft work statements.
  • Negotiate terms and conditions of subcontracts.
  • Lead the end-to-end subcontracting process, including preparing bid packages, evaluating proposals, conducting negotiations, and finalizing awards.
  • Collaborate with contracts administration and purchasing teams to create subcontract policies and procedures.
  • Manage the administration of contracts throughout their lifecycle.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or equivalent experience/combined education with 6 years of professional experience, or 4 years of professional experience with a related Master's degree.
  • Supply Chain Experience.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office.

  • SAP with Case File experience
  • Negotiation Skills
  • P2P experience
  • Experience as Procurement Rep or SCA within Sikorsky.
