About the position

The Subcontract Administrator at Lockheed Martin is responsible for managing the procurement of specialized materials, equipment, and services that support key development and production contracts. This role involves developing detailed subcontract specifications, drafting work statements, and negotiating terms and conditions. The position requires collaboration with contracts administration and purchasing teams to create subcontract policies and manage contracts throughout their lifecycle, all while promoting a hybrid telework environment.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the procurement of specialized materials, equipment, and services for development and production contracts.
  • Develop detailed subcontract specifications and draft work statements.
  • Negotiate terms and conditions of subcontracts.
  • Lead the end-to-end subcontracting process, including preparing bid packages and evaluating proposals.
  • Conduct negotiations and finalize awards for subcontracts.
  • Collaborate with contracts administration and purchasing teams to create subcontract policies and procedures.
  • Manage the administration of contracts throughout their lifecycle.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or equivalent experience/combined education.
  • 6 years of professional experience in procurement or supply chain, or 4 years with a related Master's degree.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office.
  • Supply Chain Experience.

  • SAP with Case File experience
  • Negotiation Skills
  • P2P experience
  • Experience as Procurement Rep or SCA within Sikorsky.
