About the position

The Subcontracts Administrator II at Amentum is responsible for managing all phases of subcontract administration, from acquisition planning to closeout. This role requires a strong understanding of government subcontracting and compliance with relevant policies and procedures. The administrator will work independently and collaboratively with various stakeholders to ensure effective subcontract management and contribute to organizational goals.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate, develop, and produce subcontract documentation such as subcontracts, agreements, and modification task/delivery orders.
  • Evaluate proposals and quotations, determining offer responsiveness and eligibility for award.
  • Develop and maintain subcontract files and monitor subcontractor deliverables.
  • Conduct subcontract file reviews in support of Government audits.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate teaming and non-disclosure agreements.
  • Coordinate with accounting and finance departments in administering subcontract invoicing and payments.
  • Ensure compliance with CPSR, FAR/DFARS, and Amentum policies on subcontracts and procurement.
  • Negotiate terms and conditions with subcontractors and ensure cost or price analysis is conducted.
  • Close out subcontracts and perform all other position-related duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field, and 3+ years of experience in subcontracts, procurement, or supply chain, or a Master's degree and 1+ years of experience.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Working knowledge of SharePoint, Microsoft Office Suite, and integrated software applications.
  • Active Secret or TS/SCI Clearance or ability to obtain one.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with Costpoint or similar ERP system.
  • Process improvement experience in recognized methodologies (Lean Six Sigma, CMMI, ISO).
  • Specialized knowledge in Construction, Davis Bacon Act, Service Contract Act/Wage Determination, and Collective Bargaining Agreements.
