About the position

The Subcontracts Administrator at Canvas is responsible for the preparation and administration of subcontract awards and modifications. This role involves managing the day-to-day operations of subcontracts, negotiating terms, and ensuring compliance with contractual provisions. The position requires strong analytical and organizational skills to effectively plan and manage multiple tasks while providing excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

• Provide support for the preparation of contractual provisions and the administration of subcontract awards and modifications.
• Plan and manage the progression of the subcontracts.
• Manage day-to-day administration of subcontracts.
• Review and negotiate subcontract terms and conditions.
• Establish and maintain complete, well-organized subcontract files.
• Create and analyze funding documents.
• Coordinate and attend meetings with staff sections to establish requirements.
• Conduct research and analysis to determine modifications required for current subcontracts.
• Act as a liaison between Prime Contracts Administrator and Subcontractor POC.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline.
• 1-3 years of contracts/subcontracts experience working with Government contracts.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Strong commitment to customer service.
• Ability to plan and manage multiple tasks.
