About the position

Are you ready for a rewarding career challenge? Unleash your potential at Leidos, where we deliver innovative solutions through the efforts of our diverse and talented people who are dedicated to our customer's success. We empower our teams, contribute to our communities, and operate sustainably. Everything we do is built on a commitment to do the right thing for our customers, our people, and our community. Our Mission, Vision, and Values guide the way we do business. The ASC Program has over 60 subcontractors, with 10 major subs encompassing most of the 2,000 people who deploy to ice yearly. To ensure effective communication across teammates, Subcontracts Administrators (SCAs), and project teams, the ASC Program seeks a skilled Subcontracts Project Coordinator to support the ASC Subcontracts Program Manager (SPM) in liaising across all Program teams. The primary goals will be to work with the SPM to ensure program management discipline is fully integrated into the supply chain, coordinate with ASC managers and support personnel to update and maintain subcontractor scorecards and performance metrics, and support the collection, tracking, and reporting of subcontractor performance, performance metrics, and customer feedback of subcontractors' ability to meet cost, schedule, quality, and performance requirements. Additionally, the Subcontracts Project Coordinator will support the ASC Large Projects Team and SCAs in RFP development and processing. This role is crucial in establishing clear performance and communications expectations in line with contractual terms and conditions and program requirements. The coordinator will serve as an additional point of contact with the SPM, providing managers with multiple resources to discuss any subcontract-related matters such as status, schedule, cost, technical issues, and more. The position also involves drafting formal and informal subcontractor communications, supporting ASC project managers and SCAs with RFP reviews, and engaging in activities within the ASC program to enhance the capabilities of Leidos managers across the program. The Leidos Antarctic Support Contract (ASC) is the prime contractor to the National Science Foundation (NSF) in support of the United States Antarctic Program (USAP). Leidos supports the NSF's Office of Polar Program's Antarctic Infrastructure and Logistics by aligning with their Mission and Vision Statements. The planning and implementation of science support requirements in Antarctica is a critical part of our mission. If you are ready to join a team dedicated to a mission, we encourage you to apply today!
